| The Narrow II, Zion National Park
[405AR, Leica R8, 35 - 70 mm Vario Elmar 1/15, f/11, Fuji Velvia, 10/97]
The Narrows is the section of Utah's North Fork Virgin River that has carved through the Narkagunt Plateau of Zion National Park, creating canyon walls that are 200 yards apart at the Temple of Sinawava and barely 20 feet apart above Orderville Canyon, rising 1- 2,000 feet. This is one of the most exciting and rewarding slot canyons in the world and only a 3-hour drive from the lights of Las Vegas. |
