In the North coyote Buttes area of the Paria Wilderness on the Arizona-Utah border, well over 30 miles from the nearest camp or civilization the Navajo Sandstone rock formations glow red with the early morning sunrise and reveal the delicate fins and furrows created by the desert winds.
